I'm now a "published" photographer

One of my friends recently wrote an article on the Cruxshadows over at Indie In-Tune, an online magazine that covers "Indie" music. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos in the article are the ones I took at their January 21 concert in San Francisco (which can also be seen at my Flickr page) taken with my Canon Powershot G6 (I didn't want to take my Canon Digital Rebel XT with me.).

This is definitely a milestone for my photography hobby.

HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray: What about the movies?

Looking at technical specifications, the number of movies available, and the number of players sold for each format may have some importance in determining the winner in the HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray format war, but what about asking which format actually has the movies that someone wants? I've taken a look at all titles listed for both formats on Amazon and have rated movies in the following way: 1 - Nice to have, 2 - Would like to have, and 3 - Gotta have. I will then add the numbers up to see which format has the higher number of points to determine which format I would go with, though I have no intention to do so in the near future, as I do not even have an HD television set yet.

Blu-Ray:
Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest - 2
Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl - 3
Terminator 2 - Judgment Day - 1
House of Flying Daggers - 1
Kung Fu Hustle - 2
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back - 1
The Princess Bride - 3

HD-DVD:

Total for HD-DVD: 16

HD-DVD just barely edges about Blu-Ray - and that is without splitting Lord of the Rings into three movies. Even though Blu-Ray is listed as having more movies, right now HD-DVD has more of what I want. Still, it's too close for me to want to choose one over the other (without going to a player that plays both formats). Hopefully this format war will end soon.
