Dual monitors go!
The "100." version of Nvidia drivers finally went stable for the x86 in Gentoo, which I had to (?) install to get dual monitors working. Thankfully, getting it going went smoothly. Even though my primary monitor is on the right, KDE wanted to start up on the left - I found the settings to have it start back on my primary monitor (now known as monitor 2 in KDE), along with the KDE taskbar. From here, though, it looks like I'll need to configure applications to start on my primary monitor. Eventually I will get Neverwinter Nights installed again, though I suspect it won't start in my primary monitor. I'll have to see what to do about that, but I'll worry about it when I get there.

Is your name and phone number listed on Google?
A friend pointed out to me that if you search for your phone number in Google (in the xxx-xxx-xxxx format), there's a chance that it will show up with your name. Clicking on the link will present you with an opportunity to remove the listing.

Gentoo for x86 now installed
I removed my amd64 installation of Gentoo and replaced it with the x86 installation so I wouldn't have to face the Flash issues anymore. I was also experiencing problems with Firefox, with windows mysteriously opening and making navigation difficult. I'm having the problem on the x86 side as well and suspect that one of the add-ons I installed is causing the problem. I'm guessing it may be the NoScript add-on. I'm working with very few add-ons right now and will add more, one at a time, making sure one of these isn't causing the issue, and probably avoiding NoScript unless I find something that suggests something else is the problem.
I'm also waiting to see if I will have issues with X crashing when using Mplayer, but am waiting for a moment when I have nothing critical running.

Photosphere
There's a Google Video that talks about Photosphere, an HDR browser that can also stitch panoramas. You can find it at Anyhere Software's website. Currently there is a GUI for OS X and a command line program for OS X and Linux.

The Role of Spiritual Practice in the Modern World
Google Tech Talks April 5, 2007
ABSTRACT
For the past 50 years, people have begun to recognize that advanced technology and material ... all » abundance do not provide meaning in their lives. This talk discusses how spiritual practice provides the balance needed to live a life of understanding and harmony. Before retiring from the corporate, high-tech world in 1990, Les Kaye worked at IBM for over 30 years, as an engineer, salesman, manager, and software developer. In the mid-sixties, while working and raising a family, he started to practice Zen Buddhism. He was ordained as a Zen monk in 1970 and was recognized as a Zen teacher in 1986. Today he is the abbot of the Kannon Do Zen Center in Mountain View. His book Zen at Work includes stories of how his meditation practice enhanced the quality of his life and work at IBM.
