Journeyman: Goof or ad?

In episode 5 of Journeyman, a modern Jack In The Box billboard appears in the 1970s when Dan meets the Cambodian for the first time, advertising their sirloin burgers. The billboard appears briefly as they start the scene at the gas station - it appears near the upper left corner of the screen just above the roof of the gas station. Goof or ad? I'm going to guess ad.

Dragonlance trailer

The "rough cut" of the Dragonlance trailer (Dragons of Autumn Twilight) is out now. It's an interesting combination of CGI and animation, though Raistlin's voice is just wrong. Still, I look forward to seeing it.

Picture looking down on Atlanta intersection

While I was in Atlanta for a conference, I took a picture from my hotel room looking down on the intersection of Marietta St. NW, Park Ave WNW, and Foundry St NW. It's nothing overly spectacular, but am glad that it came out relatively nicely despite shooting through a window.

Dhcpcd 3.1.5 causes problems in Gentoo

Dhcpcd 3.1.5 caused me and at least a couple of other Gentoo users. After a computer freeze forced me to reboot last night, I was unable to connect to the Internet, though I could connect to my router. I was thinking that either this dhcpcd update, a bad network cable, or a NIC gone bad would be the cause; I'm glad the cheapest and easiest thing to fix was the cause! I'll be keeping an eye on the Gentoo forums to see when it looks like things are fixed.
