This second photo is of one lone icicle hanging from my house. Not the biggest one, but one that just stuck out at me.

The total measurement of snow from my house today was 5 inches. This first photo is of one of the bushes outside of my home.

My photo of Emerald Bay, above Vikingsholm has been used. Details are on the comments for the picture. It's a first for me and is a very nice feeling.

Picture looking down on Atlanta intersection

While I was in Atlanta for a conference, I took a picture from my hotel room looking down on the intersection of Marietta St. NW, Park Ave WNW, and Foundry St NW. It's nothing overly spectacular, but am glad that it came out relatively nicely despite shooting through a window.

I'm now a "published" photographer

One of my friends recently wrote an article on the Cruxshadows over at Indie In-Tune, an online magazine that covers "Indie" music. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos in the article are the ones I took at their January 21 concert in San Francisco (which can also be seen at my Flickr page) taken with my Canon Powershot G6 (I didn't want to take my Canon Digital Rebel XT with me.).

This is definitely a milestone for my photography hobby.

A Creek Runs Through It

Continuing with the photos I took at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno, NV is a creek that runs through parts of the park, eventually ending up at a small pond. In the background, on the left, is Peavine Peak.

This was taken with a Canon Powershot G6, focal length 7.2mm, ISO 50 or 100, 1/250 s. @ f/8.

My God, it's Full of Stars!
